Ron Mueck

Today the family went to check out Ron Mueck's exhibit at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. It's in town through Oct. 21, if you haven't seen it yet. It is really impressive.

What I like about the art:

it is real....too real...all the imperfections are left as is

the layout/placement...especially the fat guy in the corner...there is no buffer between you and the art

the variety in scale

the attention to detail...feet, hands, eyes, noses...they look more real than my own.
