inked

I'm thinking about getting a tattoo.

There are complications, due to my position at the church. Many church-goers disagree with the idea of profaning the "temple" with ink. I found the discussion at this site helpful.

I like to joke about getting the Virgin Mary on my forearm [like I'm some kind of sailor]. But more than likely it would be something of a religious nature: either a cross, or something in hebrew or aramaic.

I like the idea of how permanent it is. I like thinking that there is something that I believe in so completely and deeply that I would have it permanently added to my body.

Plus Margo has one, and I need to keep up.

So if you have any ideas for tattoos, I'm open for suggestions.

Also not sure where I would have it done, that is a whole other thing. Almost as important as what you have tattooed, is where you put it. I like the forearm. I like the neck [below the colar of course, in my case]. I like the wrist. The bicep seems played out. I like the tricep.
