The classwork is all done! Now comes the fun stuff.

• Read about 2000 pages of worship stuff
• respond in writing to a few of the books read
• turn in a prospectus [outline/annotated bibliography] of my final project
• turn in a writing sample of the final project
• turn in the final project [30 pages written]

Not as bad as it sounds. My final project topic as it currently stands:
"Social Justice as Worship in the Emerging Church"

I plan on touching on the Biblical foundations for social justice [Isaiah 1:10-17 ; James 1:27], then maybe observing what was going on in the traditions that the emerging church grew out of that caused such a strong connection to social justice issues.
