confessional

"If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:8-9

I want to use my blog as a sort of online confessional...a place where I can unload the baggage of my soul. And my soul is a little heavy today. I'm feeling pretty shameful and upset with myself. It all happend yesterday, and I have confidence that if I tell you, you'll keep this to yourself [and everyone else on the internet].

Here's what I ate yesterday:

9:30 am - Chick-fil-A

4 piece chicken minis, tater tots, med. Dr. Pepper

11:30 am - Jason's Deli

Salad bar [2 trips, one for salad, one for pasta salad, and an ice cream cone], water

3:30 pm - Taco Bell

7:30 pm - IHOP

Burger melt with bacon and cheese, on the butteriest piece of sourdough I've ever seen, huge onion rings, water

Ok, that doesn't look so bad on paper. It felt a lot worse. The IHOP was the worst...most of the guilt stems from that.
