Today was different.
Margo and I babysat Seth Aaron Kistler, the 2 month old son of some of our friends at church. 8 am to 8 pm. It confirmed for me how life-changing having a baby is. There is suddenly a new priority in your well-established list of priorities.
I do think I surprised Margo though. A couple of times when she was holding him and he was fussing, I would take him, and then he would settle down. I got him to stop crying several times when Margo couldn't. Margo was a professional nanny for like 2 years. It's a guy thing.
You can see us hanging out in the picture. He likes to bounce a lot, and since we didn't have a swing, he had to be manually bounced. He also likes to sleep on his stomach.
Set for church tomorrow:
- Wholly Yours [DCB]
- How Great Is Our God [Tomlin]
- Famous One [Tomlin]
- Let My Words Be Few [Redman]
- Prayer
- Responsive Reading - "A Lamp & a Light"
- "Make Me Over" by Natalie Grant
