"I think God wants us to get a cat"
So on our way back from Grapevine and our mini-vacation, we made a stop at the Mills outlet mall. We went into the Virgin megastore. Bad idea. Especially when you're on a limited budget like ourselves.
So the second rack in the door is a $10 special section. All CDs/DVDs are $10. Now, I'm not sure how to feel about this, but they had EVERY album in the Radiohead catalog there for $10 [Pablo Honey, The Bends, OK Computer, Kid A, Amnesiac, Hail to the Thief...the last 4 of which I own]. I was [A] thrilled at the value and delighted that I could add to my collection, yet [B] sadened that such precious, amazing, powerful, creative art was not getting more monetary recognition. By the time I had finished sifting through everything, I had about 8 CDs in my hands, including: Pablo Honey, The Bends, the first Nickel Creek album, Buena Vista Social Club, Smashing Pumpkins greatest hits, Ben Harper & the Blind Boys of Alabama, Stone Temple Pilots greatest hits [ALL $10!!!] It was a hard choice as to what to take home.
Alas, Margo and I limited ourselves to 2 CDs each. Here is what I ended up with:
[And you've probably realized, the title of this post has nothing to do with the content.]

No, God doesn't want us to get a cat...He wants us to get a baby. I realize that now. Thanks for staying strong on this one Clayton.
