Mission Tour blog 1
Our youth group are in San Antonio this week doing missions work/VBS stuff w/inner-city kids, and doing worship concerts [with drama, testimony, scripture, music] at night. Tonight's concert was probably the highlight of the tour. We played for the Bexar County Juvenile Detention Center. About 80 teens who have made some bad choices in life. Our kids did an incredible job of being authentic in the way the sang, played, and shared how Christ is real in their life. It was VERY powerful. Their chaplain said we were one of the best groups he has ever seen come in and minister, and that we got one of the biggest responses from the detention folks.

it's too bad we couldn't take pictures of the dentention center show...that would have been neat to look at later on down the road as a memory tool
