below the surface

Margo has posted about this some, but I have remained silent till now. We're kind of in the middle of an "overhaul" of our lives. Due to the promptings of our Lord the Spirit through the current message series at Grace [hear the messages here] we've made some adjustments in our lifestyle/habbits.

Life before...

• 2 televisions with Dish TV/DVR recording [1 in bedroom, 1 in living room]
• excessive $$$ spent eating out
• lots of extra clothing we would never wear [mainly because we've outgrown it]

Life after...

• 1 television w/no Dish TV/DVR [now located in a guest bedroom]
• much less $$$ spent eating out [more eating at home]
• several large garbage bags of clothes given away

We don't really need that stuff. It can be hard to convince yourself of it though. So we're enjoying our Amish lifestyle now. "Whatever is most simple, is most pure."
